Hulk Hogan, aka “Ho-Ho-Hogan”, comes out and talks about hosting RAW tonight, and he has some presents for all of the WWE Universe tonight. Hulk says Big Show will face Roman Reigns, and Dean Ambrose will face Bray Wyatt in a “Miracle on 34th Street Fight”. John Cena comes out and says he tried to be good this year, and he let it go (after cracking a terrible Frozen joke) until last week happened. We see a clip of Rollins aligning with Lesnar and Heyman, and Cena says he could come down here and complain, but he lost fair and square, considering the match he was in.
Cena says tonight, he wants a match and he’s ready for everything, then Seth Rollins comes out and says Cena’s time is up, and his time is now, so if Cena wants to last in the Rollins Era, he’s just going to have to deal with it. Rollins says Cena is lucky that he lets him stick around, and his only wish is to have the Authority come back, and Cena should do it right now. Cena tells him to shut up, and he says he can try to stop him right now, or he can stand there and talk, but Cena tells Rollins he’s not bringing the Authority back either way. Hulk says Cena is the only one who can make that choice, but he’s doing something right now and making Cena versus Rollins the first match, and whatcha gonna do when Hulk and Santa run wild on you?
We get back to see Rollins stomp Cena a few times and he follows with a diving neckbreaker, then he throws a few punches before Cena comes back with a dropkick. Rollins comes back with some kicks and a corner splash, then we get back from a break to see Rollins superkick Cena for a two count. Rollins counters an Attitude Adjustment attempt and tries to kick him, but Cena hits a side slam and goes for a Five Knuckle Shuffle. Rollins counters and knocks Cena down, then they trade punches before Cena hits a side slam, Five Knuckle Shuffle, and sets up for an AA. Mercury interferes so Cena backdrops Rollins onto him and Noble, then he heads up top and hits a standing legdrop before sending Rollins into the corner. Rollins hits him a few times and sets up for a Curb Stomp, but Cena sidesteps and puts him in a STF before Mercury and Noble interfere. Cena whips Noble into Mercury and hits Mercury with an AA, then he ducks a briefcase shot by Rollins and drops him with an AA for the win.
Winner – John Cena
