She grew up living in several places across India including Suratgarh (Rajasthan), Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh), Dharchula (Uttarakhand), Belgaum (Karnataka), Silchar (Assam), and Secunderabad (Telangana).

Her family hails from Karnataka and their mother tongue is Kannada.

Shraddha Srinath made her theatrical film debut as Nancy in the 2015 Malayalam comedy heist-thriller film, Kohinoor, set in the late 1980s.

Her portrayal of Rachana, an intern with The Indian Express, in the 2016 Kannada-language supernatural thriller film, U Turn, won her the “Best Actress – Kannada” awards at the 64th Filmfare Awards South, 6th SIIMA Awards, and 2nd IIFA Utsavam.

Alongside Ali Fazal, Ashutosh Rana, Reecha Sinha, Sanjay Mishra, and Sikandar Kher, she was cast as Maithili/Janat Kumari in the 2019 Hindi-language romantic drama film, Milan Talkies, which revolves around the story of a struggling film director who wants to become the biggest filmmaker in India.

In 2019, Shraddha Srinath co-starred as Sarah Arjun in the Telugu-language sports drama film, Jersey, which won her the Critics’ Choice Film Award for “Best Actor Female – Telugu” and “Best Find of the Year – Female” at 3rd Zee Cine Awards Telugu.
