Martha Stewart and I Both Wear This Designer Jean Brand, and I Found the Best Styles for Up to 40% O

Martha Stewart is one celebrity whose style always catches my eye — I’m still hung up on how iconic she looked in her Sports Illustrated cover shoot. The multi-hyphenate star once again made glam look easy when she recently channeled Audrey Hepburn in a LBD while hosting a breakfast at Tiffany & Co. in New York to celebrate the NYC Wine and Food Festival. But even though she turned heads in her luxe look at that event, she also knows how to tone it down and give us affordable, everyday looks. 

So when I found out Stewart was seen sporting a navy Veronica Beard blazer and a comfy pair of Sketchers alongside my go-to designer jean brand, Rag & Bone, it got me thinking: I too could use a few more styles from the Katie Holmes-worn brand in my wardrobe. Stewart has me reconsidering a trend I swore I’d never pick back up after high school: skinny jeans. I now plan on adding a pair of Nina High-Waist Ankle-Skinny Jeans or Wren High-Waist Ankle-Slim Jeans to my wishlist. I do, however, own a pair like the Casey High-Waist Flare Jeans, which flatter my rear nicely and offer a lot of stretch and lift where it’s needed. The looser fitting styles I own, similar to the Harlow Relaxed Straight-Leg Jeans and the Peyton Bootcut Jeans, have a bit less stretch but still offer the same soft quality and aren’t too baggy.

The brand has a little something for everyone: stretch or no stretch, high-waisted or low-waisted, skinny or loose, but none of them compromise on comfort. I like to think of my Rag & Bone jeans as the ones you can comfortably wear to dinner (without wanting to unbutton them afterwards). They are also super easy to style, as demonstrated by Stewart. You can pair them with sneakers as she did for a more casual feel or swap them for a pair of ankle boots for a dinner-ready look.

I’m a relaxed-fit denim kind of girl, so it’s a no-brainer that I plan on picking up a pair of Harlow Relaxed Straight-Leg Jeans. They are lightweight and light-wash denim that come in sizes 24 through 34. They feature a bit of stretch, have a classic zipper and button closure, five spacious pockets across the front and back, and a length that hits right at the ankle.
