Good Bones is on a roll. The HGTV series starring mother-daughter renovation duo Karen E. Laine and Mina Starsiak Hawk will return for a seventh season, the network has revealed. A Good Bones spinoff for discovery+ is also in the works.

‘Good Bones’ Season 7 to air in 2022

Good Bones Season 6 premiered in late June, but HGTV is already committing to another season of the Indianapolis-set reality series. The current season has drawn 12 million viewers so far, and the network was ready to commit to more episodes.

“We know we’ve got a good thing, a proven performer,” Jane Latman, president, HGTV, said in a statement.

Good Bones Season 7 will have 13 episodes and premiere in the summer of 2022. Next season will continue to follow Starsiak Hawk and Laine as they purchase and renovate dilapidated properties in Indiana’s capital city.

Mina Starsiak Hawk gets new discovery+ series, ‘Good Bones: Risky Business’

Starsiak Hawk is also set to appear in a new spinoff series for streaming service discovery+. Good Bones: Risky Business will follow the real estate agent and mom of two as she sets out to tackle a solo renovation project. She has purchased the historic Sanders House in Indianapolis’ Fountain Square neighborhood. The century-old, 6,000-square-foot property includes both a main home and a carriage house and will be Starsiak Hawk’s biggest project to date in terms of both size and budget. Precise restoration will be required if she hopes to return the house to its former glory.

“The Sanders House is an amazing historic property,” Starsiak Hawk said. “It’s way more than I’ve ever taken on before, but I’m committed to bringing it back as the jewel of the neighborhood.”

Six episodes will be available to stream in summer 2022.

HGTV reveals plans for 14 more new shows

In addition to the Good Bones renewal news, HGTV has announced it is planning 14 brand-new shows for the 2021-22 broadcast season. That includes a new series featuring contractor Mike Holmes. In Holmes Family Rescue, he teams up with his kids to save homeowners from botched renovations. Meanwhile, Flip or Flop Atlanta stars Ken and Anita Corsini will star in Flipping Showdown, where three teams of flippers will compete to see who can pull off the most successful flip.

Other new shows include Moving for Love, a show from the producers of 90 Day Fiancé.; First Home Fix (WT); Why The Heck Did I Buy This House?; Renovation Remix; Renovation Goldmine; Flip It To the Maccs (WT); Family of Property Love (WT), and Home Inspector Joe.

New episodes of Good Bones currently air Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on HGTV. Episodes stream the same day on discovery+.
