I like how all of these Indian Americans are all solidly middle-class. Judging from the looks of their apartments and their parents' houses, they're not living lavish lives and throwing it the audience's faces nonstop like certain Real Housewife franchises; these Indians are all much more grounded and their lifestyles are a bit more interesting to watch.

I feel for Dillon but he's been given an important lesson on the consequences of snarking in a small community: There will be a harsh blowback, no matter how correct your assessment.

I hope this season gets a reunion. Ratings last season were better than other Bravo shows such as Dallas Housewives and Summer House who both got a reunion.

I mean, to be fair, Vishal does REALLY really seem like the type... to do... what Dillon claims he does. I think part of the problem with Vishal and Richa is their families are of different backgrounds. Vishal is Sindhi while Richa is Punjabi. A lot of us who are not Indians often think it's 1 big country of the same ethnic group but that's far from the case. India has many ethnicities, languages and religions. It's more of an American thing for Indians of different backgrounds to intermarry. Traditionally in India you only stayed within your own group

I was getting emotional when Amrit came out to his grandmother. She definitely didn't understand at first and her "I don't like this" reaction was a gut punch. Just watched Amrit on Watch What Happens Live. I'm impressed. He fit in like a natural, as if he's been on talk shows before. This is the first time Andy had anyone from Family Karma on. I hope he has Anisha and Vishal on soon too.

R65 Supposedly they're only renting the studio apartment while filming the show and they both actually still live in Chicago while not filming.

I really get into this show. The low key drama, in contrast to the phony, hyperbole drama that we see on the Housewives, the positive portrayal of the relationships between generations, I really like it. I also appreciate that the drama here is a tool to show how it can be resolved in a constructive way instead of teaching how to escalate it even further.

They did put a bit too much pressure on Amrit's grandmother. I mean, she didn't even understand the concept at first and they were already pushing her to accept it and bless Amrit and his partner and call the other relatives and announce it. I was like, "geez, give her a few minutes to process it".

I'm surprised there's no Hindi or Sindhi word for "gay" because "gay" has certainly been in the news internationally for at least 50-60 years.

I’m going to MARY myself for writing this but this show warms my heart. The friendships are real. The families are real. They fight and makeup. I loved seeing Anisha and Monica interact last night. It’s the opposite of trashy Shahs.

I'm with Mary. The show is good. It has heart. Besides what already has been mentioned, I like that the parents do not serve as the usual (a) crazy or (b) mean antagonists for the main folks.

And I noticed that the editing is actually quite clever. There was that event where all the older generations came together for socializing, the women all dolled up with big hairdo and crazy hats. And the editor cut in some peacocks watching that spectacle. Too funny.

I still think Vishal is gorgeous, but Krish is the most perfect, handsome man I've EVER seen!! Wow!

it MIGHT be enough to secure a third season but I think they're on the edge. For whatever reason Bravo hasn't done enough to promote them. Only Amrit has been on WWHL. I have seen ads for Family Karma on Bravo but I don't know if cast members have been giving interviews on other networks at all

This is what she wants and this is her dream. This is why her parents getting along and being in the same room is so important to her...she wants to mesh both families together. the fact that Bravo is replaying the season finale late Sunday night is another good sign we'll get a third season. I've seen shows before that were canceled on Bravo and by the end of the season, they were only showing them once a day in their allotted time slot. Replay is only for renewed series
