Upcoming new boxing game Undisputed is set to finally launch in early access at the end of this month.

The highly anticipated game, formerly known as ESBC, will be available for PC gamers on January 31, exclusively on Steam.

It has been confirmed that Undisputed will be available on PS5 and Xbox eventually too.

For the time being though, only PC players will get early access.

The Steel City Interactive developers' press release states that Undisputed 'packs a punch with stunning visuals, a revolutionary footwork system and deep strategy'.

The game features over 60 different punches with voiceovers from legendary referees and commentators.

As for playable characters, a number of world class boxers feature. These include Tyson Fury, Deontay Wilder, Oleksandr Usyk, Canelo Alvarez and Katie Taylor.

Fight venues range from a typical large arena to Dave Coldwell’s gym in Rotherham.

With the game in early access, players are warned to expect it not to be fully complete with further changes to come.

Regarding how long the game will be in early access, developers state: "We will release the full version of Undisputed when we feel it’s ready.

"That means achieving certain milestones and reaching a level of quality we feel is up to our standards and incorporates feedback from players.

"With that in mind, it can be tough to predict exactly how long early access will last. We plan to add additional content and features along the way, and that will take time.”

Asked how the full version of the game will differ from early access, developers said: “Our development roadmap includes additional features that will be introduced over the course of Early Access.

"This includes Career Mode, Fighter Creation tools, additional boxers, and venues. We’ll provide more details about these features along the way.”

“The early access build of Undisputed features a core boxing gameplay experience we feel is fun and engaging and ready for player feedback.

"This includes both online and offline modes, a roster of over 50 boxers, and seven venues to choose from.

"Since Undisputed is still in development, we expect to be fixing bugs and polishing the experience throughout early access, while providing a game that is stable and enjoyable to play.”
