The Premier League concluded a bumper new deal with broadcasters in the UK earlier this week — with a big change on the way for TV viewers. The deal, worth a total of £6.7billion in revenue across the four-year period of the agreement, will see Sky Sports show a record 215 live matches per season from the 2025-26 season. That number includes more than 140 matches played at weekends, evening matches on Fridays and Mondays and full coverage of three midweek match rounds.
